Savings and cost figures are illustrative

Any percentage, dollar figure, or "typical" result we cite — including any average savings figure — is illustrative and based on the situations described. It is not a promise, projection or guarantee of the result you will get. Cloud savings depend entirely on your current usage, your existing commitments and discounts, your architecture, and how much change your teams can absorb. Your outcome may be higher, lower, or different in kind.

Pricing and product details change

Cloud providers change prices, instruments, instance families and terms frequently, sometimes within days. We date our content and keep it current as best we can (see our editorial standards), but provider pricing and documentation are the only authoritative source for what something costs today. Always verify current numbers with the provider before making a commitment.

Our independence — standing disclosure

Cloud Cost Room is an independent, vendor-neutral advisory. To keep our guidance trustworthy, we disclose the following and keep it current:

• No affiliate or referral income. We do not earn affiliate commissions, referral fees, or kickbacks from any cloud provider, reseller, tool vendor or marketplace. Links to provider documentation and pricing are not monetized.
• No sponsored content. We do not publish paid posts, sponsored reviews, or "advertorial". Nobody pays to appear in, or be recommended by, our articles. If that ever changes, we will label such content clearly and prominently.
• No provider partnerships influencing coverage. We are not a reseller or badged partner of AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud or Oracle, and our recommendations are not steered by any provider relationship. The only side we are on is the customer's.
• How we are paid. Our income comes solely from client advisory engagements — fixed fee, performance fee tied to verified savings, or managed FinOps — as described on our pricing page.
